Last Party in the Park of the season with the Holiday Band- Sept. 9!!!

Thanks to all our loyal PITPers who have continued to come out each week to hear great beach music! We’re sad the season is already coming to an end.  But we’re going out in style – with the ‘09 CAMMY Awards “Group of the Year,”  The Holiday Band (see their video below).

Let us know who  your favorite bands were this summer, who would you like to see come next year??  Just because Party in the Park has ended does not mean there won’t be other fabulous events brought to you by EventZone!

Here’s what’s coming next:

Sept. 15- Jim Quick’s “Down South” CD Release concert downtown Roanoke in Market Square!  Admission is FREE!!! So after work come have drinks and listen to the new and exciting sounds of Jim Quick!  5:30- 9:00.  After party at Corned Beef & Co. 9:00-10:00.

Oct. 2- SunTrust Big Lick Blues Festival with Grammy winning performers like Jimmie Vaughan, John Lee Hooker Jr. and Teresa James!!  The music won’t be the only thing smokin’, we’ve also got some of the “BEST” rib vendors  in town who are coming to battle it out for the title of  ” Best Rack in town.”  It’s a perfect combination of great food and outstanding food.
